Mad Sketches
Here are some rough sketches to figure out caricatures for Mad magazine from back in the day. I wanted to work toward Drucker's spot, but never got a movie, usually TV and Games shows. When I was in favor there I would have Monroe and a TV parody in the same issue. When Tom Richmond came along they cut me back to Monroe for the most part. These were done for "Survivor" and a made up story "Want if they unfroze Disney" the story I was born to do as I had the same idea for years. It's like a universal cartoon urban legend. I never liked Michel Eisner so that was a joy too. I miss doing these , but what is done is done. I thought about "cherry Picking the best ones so I'd look like in knew what I was doing , but I think artist get more out of the warts and all approach, It's ok to founder around until you find what your going for.

I love that stuff! I have those issues of MAD with "Single Louts" and "Walt Disney Visits His Studio Today". The way you drew all those cartoon characters all over the place looked really cool! Although I loved Monroe cartoons too, it would have been really cool to see you do some movie parodies, like Mort Drucker. I think your caricatures are funnier than his. Your cartoons of Jenny McCarthy are friggin' hilarious!
P.S. In sort of a sick way, I always thought Monroe's mom was hot.

Leslie I can't tell you how much I enjoyed drawing him. He made that show great. the evil homo purched on a rock.
"Tight" is a slang term my friends and I use for stating/ pointing out that somthing is cool. I apologize if that came off negative. Expamle, "That car's hella tight", I grew up with a bunch of break-dancers. I admire your work and look frequently at the draw magazine you were featured in for inpiration. That's it.

This is so bizarre -- I was just talking to a friend about how much I enjoyed the Mad unfrozen Walt Disney piece a few days ago! Anyway, love your illustrations as usual.
I remember reading the Disney/Eisner piece. I forget what issue it's in though. Maybe I still have it somewhere.
Anydangway, I did enjoy reading it. As I recall, it put both those men in their place. B)
